The ""Ultimate Sapphire"", a dial that is off-center, is made from a thick sapphire with white scales on the surface. It also has a white subdial for the small seconds between 7 and 8 hours. Hand-finished stainless steel lance-shaped hands in a luminous finish indicate the hours and minutes. The small seconds hand, which is also made in-house, is baton shaped.
Using different colors to represent day and night was definitely a good idea, however, whether the choice to use black for a day and blue for the night is a good idea, is debatable.
